I am a long established member of the Embroiderers' Guild and the Quilters' Guild (QG) and am on the ‘Teachers Lists' for both these national associations. As well as teaching days for groups throughout the U.K.

I have led workshops at several QG conferences and the Festival of Quilts. I have also taught at several of the Quilt Expo Europa exhibitions on the continent. Many quilters will remember me because of my quilts included in the Guild's exhibitions and my 'rug quilts'. One of these is in the Nineties Collection quilt collection owned by the Quilters' Guild that is made up of quilts commissioned by the regions of the guild.

‘One lady spoke to me at Llandudno, after your lecture when you were surrounded. She was on quite a high! How wonderful it had been to get learn something about how to go about designing - a rare treat. Said she did enjoy the 'look I made this' and the 'here's a new technique' type lectures and books, but what we were all so short of was HOW to design!
